Long before he was selling new homes, Devon Brough was cutting them out of the Sunday Times. From age 18 he kept a plastic folder of the priciest properties in the JHB Property Pages — homes he’d never been inside, but had already started to imagine.
He went into property full-time in 2017. Since then he’s specialised in new developments across Sandton’s most sought-after suburbs, with Hyde Park as his primary stomping ground — multiple sold-out developments delivered, and counting. He lives in Atholl, three to five minutes from every active site.
As Head of Developments at LuxProp, Devon leads a small, focused team that does what most agencies don’t: source the land, brief the architects, handle the town planning, manage the build, run the interiors, manage the rentals — and when the keys finally land in your hand, even make sure the fridge is stocked for the first night.
