The development
Aurora sits on a river bend in Hurlingham: one of Sandton’s last under-built pockets, minutes from Sandton CBD via the Sandhurst Avenue connector and Grayston Drive. The river frontage gives the site a softness most cluster developments don’t have, and the elevation along the upper blocks delivers an uninterrupted view east across the Sandton skyline.
Phase 2 is a 37-home cluster on Zonnebloem Road, designed by ARK Studio Huiz and built by Gelding Construction for South Ridge Properties. The product mix is deliberate: a small number of compact two-bedroom Type A homes with single garage for entry buyers and rental investors (all now sold); a family-sized three-bedroom Type C / D / E with double garage at the centre of the development; and a handful of four-bedroom Type F Signature Residences, each with a rooftop terrace and double garage.
Phase 1 is complete and occupied. You can drive in today and see the finished article. Phase 2 is all but done, with the first homes ready to move into from the end of July 2026, roughly a month away. A small number of Phase 1 owner-driven resales are available alongside the new-build inventory, listed further down this page.

Five homes are left in Phase 2, from R3.95 million. Prices include VAT, with no transfer duty. First move-ins from the end of July 2026.

Hurlingham · the area
Hurlingham is one of Sandton’s most under-the-radar luxury pockets: a quiet, leafy residential suburb with Morningside on its eastern flank and Inanda just south. Sandton City is eight minutes via the Sandhurst Avenue connector and Grayston Drive. Rosebank is twelve. The M1 highway is on the doorstep via Glenhove or Grayston.
The suburb has long sat in the shadow of Sandton’s trophy-name addresses, but the trade-off is exactly the point: similar address quality, sharper value, fewer billboards. Aurora sits on the western edge along the river, the most generous-feeling part of the suburb, with elevated views across the valley to the Sandton skyline.
